Grandma Connie was born June 1, 1950 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Connie grew up in Chickasha and graduated from Chickasha High School in 1967. In her younger years she worked as a caregiver for local families and in home health and successively operated several different home business's. She also attended church and volunteered her time wherever she could. In her later years, Connie received several awards for her volunteer work with the Washita Valley Headstart and Grand Avenue School as a volunteer grandmother helping children with their reading.
Our Mission
Connie's Fund was created to honor the legacy of Connie Crew and her lifelong commitment to helping children, families, and her community.
Our goal is simple:
To provide toys, books, school supplies, and opportunities to children who may not otherwise receive them, while encouraging creativity, literacy, imagination, and community involvement.
Every child deserves the chance to dream.
Why Connie's Fund Exists
As a child, I grew up loving comics, books, toys, and stories.
Those adventures helped shape the person I became.
Today, through Connie's Fund, we hope to share that same sense of imagination, joy, and possibility with future generations.
Connie spent many years helping children through volunteer work and the Foster Grandparents Program. This fund continues that spirit of service.

A Story Behind the Mission
The inspiration behind Connie's Fund is deeply personal.
As a child, I made mistakes. One of those mistakes led to a lesson in accountability, grace, and second chances that has stayed with me for the rest of my life.
That experience helped shape how I view people, community, and the importance of giving others opportunities to grow.
